What is ASCII ? American Standard for Information Interchange (ASCII) is a technique of encoding characters relying on the English language order of alphabetic characters.
There are printable and non-printable subsets for ASCII integer representations. Printable characters are ordinary characters and characters that are not printable are characters that are used to depict keyboard keys, such as backspace, delete, and return.
What is Binary Character ?
A binary code reflects text, instructions for the computer processor, or any other information using a scheme of two symbols. The two-symbol system used in the binary number system is often "0" and "1." The binary code assigns to each character, instruction, etc. A binary digit pattern, also known as bits. For instance, an eight-bit binary string can represent any of 256 possible values and can thus represent a broad range of distinct things.
A bit string can be converted into a decimal amount, interpreted as a binary number. For example, the lower case a can also be represented as the decimal number "97" if represented by the bit string 01100001 (as it is in the standard ASCII code).
